Takaharu Yabe travelled from Japan to take part in the Sydney Marathon. He lost his hearing at the age of four and has lived with a cochlear implant for the past 30 years. To celebrate that journey and mark a new milestone, he decided to run the marathon in Sydney Australia—a world leader in cochlear implant technology.
