The Art of Observation - Kazuhiro Soda, Director of "Inland Sea"

Kazuhiro Soda, a Japanese documentary film director based in New York, has been highly regarded for a series of his "observational films" which accompany no music or narration. His 7th film of the series "Inland Sea" has been selected for this year's Sydney Film Festival. The first one of this two-part interview, he explains his definition of observational films and tells us stories behind the scenes of this film which depicts the lives of people in a small fishing town.
