The United Nations says Myanmar's military must face justice after a report finding the military committed mass killings and human-rights violations against the minority Rohingya with what it calls "genocidal intent." Following a painstaking investigation, the UN fact-finding mission has taken the unusual step of naming the military leaders it wants to see investigated and prosecuted. In the aftermath, Facebook has taken the unprecedented step of banning senior army figures from using the social-media platform.
