US remembers 9/11 victims 15 years on

Americans have paused to remember the victims of September 11, fifteen years after the coordinated attacks that killed almost 3,000 people.

At the sites where the United States came under attack from the terrorists hijacking commercial aeroplanes, the bells toll for those killed in the deadliest attack on the country's soil since the World War Two bombing of Pearl Harbour.
