The Karen environmental rights group held an exhibition of the Salween Peace Park for the first time in Yangon.

The photo festival is held from the 19th of February to the 14th of March in Yangon's Mahabandoola Park.

It included photos of rare plants and animals that are still existing in the Salween Peace Park area which is in the Mutraw District or Hpapun Township of Myanmar.

It is organised by the Karen Environmental and Social Action Network (KESAN) and most photos were taken by the Karen people.

SBS Karen Program talked to Naw Hsa Moo, a spokesperson from KESAN about their aims of having the photos exhibition.
