A charter plane carrying the Brazilian football team Chapecoense (shap-uh-ko-EN-see) to Medellin (med-ay-EEN) in Colombia for the biggest match in its history has crashed in the Colombian mountains after an electrical fault.

Rain has hampered rescue attempts.

There are six survivors, including three Chapecoense players, a journalist who was going to cover the match and two members of the flight crew.

Two of the survivors are in critical conditions.
