An explosion at a concert in Manchester killed at least 19 people

Authorities in Britain say they are treating an explosion that killed at least 19 people at a concert in Manchester as a terrorist incident.

The blast at the end of a concert by the pop singer Ariana Grande at Manchester Arena injured around another 50 people.

Local police say they are working closely with counter-terrorism officials and intelligence agencies in the aftermath.

Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins from Greater Manchester Police says multiple hospitals are treating the injured.
