Flooding in Cambodia may cause delays in election

NEC spokeman, Dim Sovannarom, said on July 19 that many polling stations in Koh Kong, Kompong Chhnang, Kompong Cham and Kampong Speu provinces were flooded. If, on the election day, July 29 , those polling stations remain flooded, they will be moved to the safety hills. But if those safety hills flooded, then elections in those communes would have to wait until the water receded.
