The High Court has cleared the way for the Federal Government's controversial postal survey on same-sex marriage to proceed. The Court has thrown out two challenges to the legality of the poll.

The High Court has cleared the way for the Federal Government's controversial postal survey on same-sex marriage to proceed. The Court has thrown out two challenges to the legality of the poll.


The Australian Bureau of Statistics will start mailing out survey forms on Tuesday. (12 Sept)

 

A final result will be declared by the Australian Statistician at 11.30am on November the 15th.
