International Volunteer Day: Meet with an Australian Volunteer to Cambodia

Every year International Volunteer Day (IVD) is celebrated on December 5 to acknowledge the contributions of volunteers to international development. More than 15000 volunteers have been sent to work with local communities in 26 countries across the Indo-Pacific region under Australia Government funds since 1960s. Here is an interview with one of the volunteers, Rob Madsen who went to Cambodia for a volunteer job as a Child Protection Adviser at Komar Rikreay (Happy Children) Association during 2006-2007.
