The City of Greater Dandenong’s annual exhibition, HOME, celebrates artists from a refugee or asylum seeker background. The call out period for submissions from artists is open nationally from now until Sunday 29 July. HOME aims to nurture the talents of artists and provide them with professional development opportunities in the creative sector. Shortlisted artists will have their work presented at the exhibition, held at Walker Street Gallery & Arts Centre from October until November 2018, with awards announced at the launch on Thursday 18 October.
