NEC warns the activists who stop people to vote will be punished by the law

The National Election Committee (NEC) announced on May 23 that, it has officially accredited 20 political parties to contest the upcoming general election on July 29, 2018.


With this announcement, NEC spokesman Dim Sovannarom also warned that those who do not want to see Cambodian citizens go to the polls should act cautiously. By law, those who call for or prevent the people from voting will be punished.
