Race death amplifies calls to ban Cup

Animal welfare advocates have renewed calls for horse racing to be banned after a horse died shortly after the conclusion of this year's Melbourne Cup. Irish horse The Cliffsofmoher was euthanased on the track after injuring its shoulder at the beginning of the race.
