Royal Government of Cambodia will start providing a subsidy to pregnant women in more than 70,000 families in June.

Providing subsidies to pregnant women and children in poor households will be implemented by the government on June 1, 2019. In the first step, the Royal Government plans to implement the program, which will provide over 70,000 poor pregnant women in three phases: pregnancy, postpartum and postpartum period up to two years old. According to Chhour Sopanha, director of the Department of Social Welfare of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation.
