Spending by Chinese tourists has reached a new record in Australia - exceeding $10 billion for the first time.


The International Visitor Survey reveals that over the past year Australia has welcomed more than 1.3 million Chinese visitors, second only, by a narrow margin, to New Zealand tourists.
