A suspect reportedly carrying a suitcase full of explosives has been caught after being shot in the leg during a Belgian police operation in Brussels.
Authorities say the arrest was one of three in the city yesterday (fri)that was linked to the arrest in Paris of an Islamist suspected of plotting a new attack there.
Video from the scene shows the man lying on his side as a bomb squad robot approached him, checking for explosives.
Nine people in total have been arrested since Thursday in Belgium and two in Germany, as European authorities close in on militants believed to be linked to the Brussels attacks that killed 31.
