From Saturday 10th to Sunday 11th November, the Korea Week Festival 2018 is once again returning to Queensbridge Square at Southbank.
The Korea Week Festival is going to be full of exciting activities, traditional food and great performances to enjoy and experience Korea.
The event will feature performances and activities, such as traditional Korean music and dances, taekwondo demonstrations, MIKTA partnership performances, comedy shows, children’s choir singing, DJ and breakdancing, K-pop dances, K-food cooking shows, Korean traditional games, craft tutorials and the opportunity to try on a Korean traditional dress (hanbok) and many more.
Performing as part of the Korea Week Festival, Gorilla Crew, a world-class hip-hop entertainment group, showcases and spearheads this increasingly strong Korean influence on hip-hop culture.
The Ongals, a multi-award winning comedy group who made their start from a segment on KBS’s longest running comedy show ‘Gag Concert’, will have special performance on November 10th at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the Korea Week Festival.
After making an appearance at Melbourne’s International Comedy Festival, they return once at Queensbridge Square, Southbank this year.
