2019 Eastwood Lunar New Year Celebrations has been held on Saturday 16 February 2019 at Eastwood Oval.
The partnership between the City of Ryde and local Chinese and Korean communities in Ryde in organising the celebrations was unique in Sydney.
A large crowd of community people flocked to the streets of Eastwood to indulge in multicultural atmospheres and the celebration included music and dance performances, martial arts, dragon parade, lion dance and fire crackers.
Starting with the Peppa Pig Stage Show, Chinese traditional dance, lion dance, the Dragon Parade and the martial arts performance demonstration followed. The festival also exhibited a traditional Korean Dance performed by Song Min Sun Dance Academy.
