38 confirmed cases of measles in Australia this year, after two more cases in Victoria

Two new cases of measles have been discovered in Victoria, bringing the total confirmed cases of measles to 38 in 2019.

Two people have been diagnosed with measles in Melbourne and visited key tourist locations.

A person who had visited New Zealand and a traveller who had been in Laos and Thailand are the latest people identified as carrying the infectious illness, Victoria's chief health officer confirmed on Tuesday.
