The two-day program will attract more than 150 delegates from Australia and Korea, and feature speeches from former Deputy Prime Minister and AKBC Chairman Hon Mark Vaile AO, Australian Ambassador to Korea James Choi, and recently appointed POSCO CEO Choi Jeong-woo.
AKBC Executive Director Liz Griffin said the Joint Meeting has always been as exciting opportunity to have business leaders from across Australia and Korea in the same room for two days.
“Each year the Joint Meeting generates new trade and investment outcomes for Australia as our best and most experienced business minds discuss emerging opportunities to maximise the potential of the Australia-Korea bilateral relationship,” Ms Griffin said.
This year senior representatives from Macquarie Group, CSIRO, Pilbara Minerals, Tennis Australia, Swinburne University and the Korean Film Council will join panel discussions around the theme ‘Expanding the Possibilities’, with the focus on emerging opportunities across renewable energy, fourth industrial revolution and the services sector
