The body of a missing woman has been found in a suitcase in a vehicle in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Police had issued a public appeal following the disappearance of the 32-year-old woman.
Police made the discovery just before 9.30pm on Tuesday, while searching a car located on Strachan Lane, Kingsford.
Western Sydney dentist Preethi Reddy had been missing since Sunday morning after she called her family to say she was heading home at approximately 11am, with no indication that anything was wrong.
CCTV footage shows Ms Reddy at a McDonald's inside the Strand Arcade in Sydney's CBD about 2.15am on Sunday. She can be seen wearing a long-sleeve black shirt, black pants and black ballet flats.

Her sister, Nithya Reddy, posted on Facebook that she had previously been located at Hotel Urban in Greenwich on Sydney's lower north shore. Earlier in the weekend, she had reportedly attended a dental convention in St Leonards.
A Facebook page set up to help find Ms Reddy said it was "highly out of character for Preethi to not contact family and loved ones".
NSW Police had previously disseminated images of Ms Reddy and her silver Volkswagon Golf in an effort to locate her.
"Inquiries by officers from Sydney City Police Area Command are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death," a NSW Police spokesperson said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Investigators are urging anyone with information relating to this incident to come forward."
