Dreamworld's major thrill rides remain under inspection but the Gold Coast theme park has announced it will re-open six weeks after the fatal accident which claimed four lives.
The park's parent company, Ardent Leisure, confirmed on Wednesday Dreamworld will re-open on Saturday, December 10.
The Dreamworld attractions re-opening then include all WhiteWater World slides and pools along with the park's wildlife areas, entertainment and family attractions in DreamWorks Experience, Wiggles World, ABC Kids World and the Motorsports Experience.
Dreamworld has been closed since Kate Goodchild, Luke Dorsett, Roozi Araghi and Cindy Low were killed following a malfunction of the Thunder River Rapids ride on October 25.
The park has already announced that ride will be decommissioned.
Dreamworld chief executive Craig Davidson says rides such as the Tower of Terror, Buzzsaw and the Claw still have to pass a four-tiered safety inspection before being re-opened.
