The location of Australia's embassy in Israel is likely to be raised during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's upcoming visit to Australia.
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop say there are no plans to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
It follow's comments by former prime minister Tony Abbott arguing that Australia should join the incoming Trump administration in relocating its embassy.
Israeli M-P Sharren Haskel says the former prime minister's comments carry weight and has flagged she'll raise the issue with Ms Bishop and at meetings with other M-Ps.
