Four children and three adults have been found dead at a rural property in Western Australia.
About 5:15am this morning, police were called to the residence in Osmington, about 20km north-east of Margaret River. Upon arrival, officers located seven people dead.
WA Police commissioner Chris Dawson could not confirm if it was a murder-suicide but said police were not looking for any suspects.
He said it appeared that the dead had lived at the property in Margaret River.
Police described the scene as "horrific" and one of the worst incidents officers have had to attend to in WA.
Police received a call from a man connected to the property, which alerted them to the incident.
Two guns were found at the property and victims had suffered gunshot wounds. The bodies of two adults were found outside the property, five others were found inside.
“This is a tragedy – I don’t think any other words can describe how tragic this is,” Commissioner Dawson said.
"Police are currently responding to what I can only describe as a horrific incident," he told reporters.

Specialist units from Perth, including the Homicide Squad and Forensic Crime Scene Unit, have deployed to the scene.
Police are expected to remain at the residence for an extended period of time - Commissioner Dawson said investigators will be at the scene "for days".
A police chaplain is at the scene to support assisting officers.
“This devastating tragedy will no doubt have a lasting impact on the families concerned, the whole community, and in particular the local communities in our south-west," he said.
Next of kin were still being contacted.
