Geelong Korea reveals 25 players roster

Kim Jin-woo, former Kia Tigers player in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), join Australian Baseball League.

Former KBO (Korea Baseball Organization) pitchers Jin-Woo Kim, Jae-Gon Lee and Jin-Yong Jang headline Geelong-Korea's inaugural 25-man Australian Baseball League roster.

Geelong Korea finalized their 25 players roster and announced it by their official Facebook page.

Kim Jin-woo, former Kia Tigers player in the Korea Baseball Organization(KBO), join ABL club Geelong Korea and Kwon Kwang-min in the Chicago Cubs system will also join team.

Jin-Woo Kim brings plenty of experience to the ABL, having played 247 KBO games across 13 seasons for the Kia Tigers. The 35-year-old right-hander did not feature this season but holds a 74-61 record and 4.07 ERA across his career.

Three South Korean high school seniors and other former KBO players join as well.

Geelong-Korea Baseball will play in the Southwest Division of the Australian Baseball League, which will run for 12 weeks from November to February.

South Korean legend Dae-Sung Koo, former Sydney Blue Sox pitcher has been named the manager of Geelong-Korea.
