Geelong Korea wants to focus on localization for 2019/20 season

Geelong-Korea has introduced their new catchphrase called "Awaken Yourself within you!" and took their first step for the successful second season.

Geelong-Korea players will leave Incheon airport in South Korea on 13 November to have its first campaign on November 21 against the Sydney Blue Sox.

Geelong-Korea has introduced their new catchphrase called "Awaken Yourself within you!" and took their first step for the successful second season.

Geelong-Korea said Kyung-eun Noh(35), Lotte Giant’s veteran pitcher and Ji-hwan Bae(19) who plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates minor team in the Major League, will join the team.

Geelong Korea spoke person said “Kyung-eun Noh  and Ji-hwan Bae joined the team and they will greatly strengthen our team. we expect the two players to be at the center of our team”

Besides the two players, Joo-hong Park(20) Hanwha Eagles player will wear the Geelong Korea uniform on behalf of Kyun- Seo.

Geelong Korea said they will hold a Korean night event for Korean fans in Australia in this season and they will focus on localization with various events for local fans in Geelong city.

The entire match of Geelong Korea will be broadcast live on MBC Sports Plus, LG Uplus U+ Professional Baseball, portal sites and GKTV, the official Youtube channel of Geelong Korea.
