Gladys Berejiklian, Premier of NSW will embark on a two-day trade mission to Seoul as part of her first official overseas mission as Premier. She will be in Korea on August 23 and 24.
Boosting infrastructure investment into NSW and strengthening trade ties will be the focus of Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s upcoming overseas mission to South Korea.
“Korea is one of the most important economic partners to NSW – something I look forward to strengthening further on this trip,” Ms Berejiklian says.
“Our close ties with Korea are not limited to trade and investment. Australia shares strong cultural bonds with Korea built through years of engagement and friendship.”
A highlight of the Premier’s mission will be a visit Incheon Airport which has consistently been voted the world’s best airport. Ms Berejiklian will use the visit to learn first-hand the successful economic precinct built around Incheon Airport.
Korea is NSW’s third largest export market, and a growing investor.
The Premier will hold a number of business talks during the mission focused on boosting collaboration on infrastructure, financial services and education.
