Homes lost and firefighter injured as flames rage in Queensland and New South Wales

Firefighters say at least 15 homes and four other structures have been lost in Queensland while more than 60 bush and grass fires burn across New South Wales.

Fire authorities have revised the number of homes lost to bushfires in Queensland to 15, with four other structures also destroyed in the flames.

Southern Queensland's bushfire crisis is not over, with a major fire still burning near Sarabah and Binna Burra in the Scenic Rim region, inland from the Gold Coast.
