How London's electric bus push could inspire Sydney to avoid 'scary' levels of pollution

The NSW transport minister has spoken about how Sydney could look to London for the best ways to tackle emissions and meet the growing demand for environmentally-friendly public transport.

The NSW Transport Minister wants to clean up Sydney and prevent "scary" levels of air pollution by going electric where possible, including when it comes to the city's increasingly in-demand buses.

Andrew Constance on Monday also urged the federal government to "cough up a lot" to help fund the city's new driverless train projects.
