Hundreds told to evacuate raging Sunshine Coast bushfires as police suspect arson

A fire that's destroyed homes on Queensland's Sunshine Coast remains out of control, with 400 people sheltering in evacuation centres.

Police suspect a group of young arsonists may have started a fire that has destroyed homes and forced hundreds of residents to flee on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Police are currently speaking to a number of juveniles over the Peregian Beach blaze that has destroyed at least two homes and is still burning out of control south of Noosa.
