The Ongals, a multi-award winning comedy group stressed that the world’s common language is the laughter.
The Ongals who made their start from a segment on KBS’s longest running comedy show ‘Gag Concert’, returned to Melbourne after making an appearance at Melbourne’s International Comedy Festival in both 2014 and 2015.
They had a special performance on November 10th at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the Korea Week Festival.
“We hope many people who are tired or doesn’t laugh recently will laugh loudly” they said.
From 5 PM before Ongals' performance, Gorilla Crew, a free-style hip-hop dance team from Korea was well received by the public.
A world-class hip-hop entertainment group showcased and spearheaded this increasingly strong Korean influence on hip-hop culture.
The event featured performances and activities, such as traditional Korean music and dances, taekwondo demonstrations, MIKTA partnership performances, comedy shows, children’s choir singing, DJ and breakdancing, K-pop dances, K-food cooking shows, Korean traditional games, craft tutorials and the opportunity to try on a Korean traditional dress (hanbok) and many more.
