Due to decreasing demand of Japanese routes amid South Korea-Japan trade tensions, Korean Air announced the schedule change on Tuesday.

The frequency of the Incheon-Brisbane route will be increased to seven flights a week.

It will bring Brisbane in line with Korean Air’s other Australian route from Incheon to Sydney, which runs daily.

In the meantime, Korean Air plans to focus on other markets, such as South-east Asia, Oceania and China in the winter season.
