Man charged over death of pregnant mother-of-two in Melbourne

A 35-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death after a Victorian mother died after falling out of a moving car.

Tributes have flown for a pregnant mother-of-two who died after falling out of a moving car in Victoria on Saturday, describing her as a "caring mum" and a "beautiful woman".

Helena Broadbent, 32, died in hospital from her injuries after delivering her baby via c-section. The newborn baby is understood to be in a critical condition.

William Wilson, 35, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death following the incident.
