A report released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare reveals 93 per cent of Australian five year olds were fully immunised in 2015-16. This is up from 90 per cent in 2011-12, however below the national target of 95 per cent.

Immunisation rates varied across the country. The percentage of five-year-olds fully immunised in smaller areas ranged from 97.8 per cent in Broken Hill and the far west of New South Wales to 84.4 per cent in the Richmond Valley–Coastal New South Wales area near Byron Bay.

Search your postcode in the table for a snapshot of child immunisation in your suburb, or use the map below to explore differences in immunisation rates across the country.
