Melbourne police nab naked jogger in CBD

A naked jogger had nowhere to hide when Melbourne police finally caught up with him in the CBD after a number of reports in recent months.

A man who has been jogging naked in Melbourne for months has been caught and charged.

Police had been receiving reports of a naked man jogging in the Melbourne CBD and West Melbourne in recent months. The man was finally spotted by officers on Tuesday morning and arrested on King Street in the CBD.

The 52-year-old from Melton West was charged with 12 offences, including wilful and obscene exposure in public and sexual activity directed at another person. He has been remanded and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on December 7.
