Melbourne, Sydney named among top most liveable cities in the world

Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide have made it to the top ten most liveable cities in the world list this year.

Vienna has retained its top spot as the world’s most liveable city for the second year in a row in Global Liveability Index 2019 released by Economist Intelligence Unit.

Vienna once again beat Melbourne which held the title of the most liveable city in the world for seven consecutive years until it lost it to Vienna in 2018.

Melbourne came in a close second followed by Sydney at the number three spot and Adelaide took the tenth spot.
