‘To me, Korea means…’

Monash University Korean Studies presents the Inaugural Annual Korean Speech Contest 2018 on 20 September 2018.

"Korea is a very meaningful country for me" said Zhihao Chen (Momo), who won the 1st prize in the Korean speech contest.

She visited Korea in September 2015 and studied Korean language level 2 at the Seoul National University Language Institute for five months.
"I attended this contest to revive my Korean language skills and celebrate the time when I studied Korean hard" Zhihao said, explaining the reason for her participation in the speech competition.

Dr. Adam Antoni Zulawnik of Monash University said “Recently, more and more students are trying to learn Korean language and Korean studies”
