More cameras for Melbourne's City Loop

Melbourne's City Loop will get more cameras and a new alarm system to protect against trespassers and keep train services going.

Melbourne's City Loop will be protected by 240 CCTV cameras to detect intruders quicker and ensure train services aren't disrupted.

A new alarm system will immediately notify train operators of trespassers.

Works have already begun on the improvements.
