One person has died and at least five pedestrians have been seriously injured after a truck crash on Botany Rd, in Sydney's inner south.
Police said the crash occurred about 7.45am between Bourke St and Epsom Rd.
It's understood a B-double veered into northbound lanes, struck several pedestrians and then smashed into a power pole, a bus stop and a building.
NSW Police Force said the driver of the truck remains trapped at the scene, while one pedestrian died at the scene.
Paramedics have sent nine ambulances crews to the scene.
Botany Road has been closed and traffic diversions in place.
