One of Australia's most-wanted fugitives has been arrested in a bloody scuffle after spending more than two years on the run following the murder of his brother at a Melbourne shopping centre.
Jonathan Dick, 41, who is wanted for questioning over the February 2017 murder of David Dick at Westfield Doncaster, was arrested in Melbourne's CBD on Monday following an assault in Hosier Lane.
"Police have arrested Jonathan Dick in the Melbourne CBD this morning," police said in a statement.
"Police were called to a car park on the corner of Flinders Street and Hosier Lane shortly before 7.50am following reports two men had restrained a third man.
"It's believed an assault occurred and all three parties suffered injuries."
Ambulance Victoria confirmed they were also called to the scene and took two people to hospital.
Dick is now in hospital under police guard.
He has been arrested for murder.
Two other men are helping police with their investigation.
The scene on Hosier Lane and a neighbouring car park has been taped off and detectives remain on scene.

Police believed Dick was being sheltered - possibly in someone's home or a hostel or boarding house - and getting by on cash-in-hand construction work.
Dick was also wanted for questioning over a hammer assault on a man at Keilor, five months after his brother's murder.
Last year a $100,000 reward was offered for Dick's capture.
