The Year of the Pig celebrations will be held in Centenary Square on 15 February and will be hosted by SBS PopAsia’s Andy Trieu, with the main stage featuring Dragon and Lion dancing, fan dancing and a K-Pop showcase.

“Our Lunar New Year event is a great celebration of our City’s multicultural identity,” City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Andrew Wilson said.

“It’s a time for family and feasting in many Asian cultures, so we have specialist food stalls, fun family workshops and learn-to-dance K-Pop classes.”

Centenary Square’s main stage K-Pop vibe will continue over at Lunar Land, with K-Pop dance workshops, while kids will have a chance to interact with pigs at a pop-up farm.
