Sailor Tom Burton has snatched a gold for Australia in the men's laser race.
Burton had to finish five places ahead of Croatian sailor Tonci Stipanovic in order to collect the points he needed for the gold.
At the end of the 10 race series, Burton crossed the line in third position in the medal race ahead of Stipanovic in ninth, and it was enough for the gold.
Earlier in the day Ashley Stoddart finished ninth in the women's laser radial medal race and Jake Lilley finished eighth overall in the final finn race.
