Scott Morrison hits out at NSW Environment Minister Matt Kean over 'out of step' gas comments

NSW Environment Minister Matt Kean has been accused of being a "bit out of step" over the future of gas as an energy source.

The prime minister has accused NSW Environment Minister Matt Kean of being a "bit out of step" over the future of gas as an energy source.

Scott Morrison's comments come a day after the NSW Independent Planning Commission granted phased approval for the controversial Narrabri coal seam gas project in the state's northwest.
