The search for a man missing in the flood-ravaged Forbes region in central west NSW will resume for a third day after 100 volunteers failed to find him.
The 49-year-old man was last seen at 12.30pm on Friday at a lake near Burcher, southwest of Forbes, where his car and boat trailer, but no boat, were found.
More than 100 volunteers and emergency services personnel spent Saturday and Sunday searching for him, and plan to resume their efforts on Monday.
The search comes as families in nearby Condobolin and Willow Bend, near Jemalong, have been told to leave their homes because of the risk posed by the rising waters.
The search will resume again about 7am on Monday.
