Tasmania to reform sex abuse laws

Sex abuse survivors are set to be able to share their stories publicly under planned reforms by the Tasmanian government.

Sex abuse survivors in Tasmania will soon be able to share their stories publicly, with the state government to scrap laws banning victims from naming themselves.

It follows a hard-fought #LetHerSpeak campaign by survivors demanding the right to identify themselves in the media without having to seek a court exemption first.
