Victorian influenza death toll tops 100, amid warning of spreading flu

At least 125 people have died of influenza across Victoria so far this year, health department figures show, with a warning the virus is still spreading.

More than 100 Victorians, including eight children, have died from influenza so far this year.

The deaths come as more than 50,000 people have been diagnosed with the virus across the state in 2019.
