Wollongong still awaiting Ronaldinho's $100,000 decision

The former FIFA World Player of the Year now has until Saturday, at the latest, to respond to the National Premier League club’s audacious approach in what his representative’s plan as a possible platform for him to prove to watching A-league clubs that he still has the stardust to win a marquee contract for the 2016-2017 season.

The generous lump sum payment has apparently been bankrolled by a gaming company, with that sort of figure far beyond the reach of the Wolves, whose director Dean Merola revealed on Thursday that his club were chasing the 36 year-old for a guest stint against the Sly Blues next Wednesday at WIN Stadium.

Ronaldinho, whose show reels run on an endless loop on YouTube, last played for Fluminense in 2015, but is not yet ready to call it quits and has been seeking a route into the A-League for over six months, with only his asking price spooking clubs.
