Although Korea Republic suffered another loss by losing to Mexico 2-1 the bottom of group F still has slim hope to advance to the next stage.

Son Heung-min’s stunner shot was not enough for the South Korea to beat Mexico on 22 June, 2018 in the FIFA Russia World Cup. The South Korean team showed better play with fighting spirit fell to Mexico 2-1. South Korea is the only country still has hopes of advancing to the next stage in spite of their second straight loss.

If South Korea defeat Germany by at least two goals on Wednesday, and Mexico beat Sweden, then South Korea can get through to the next round. Thanks to a goal difference edge.

SBS Korean program's Russia World Cup panel in Sydney, Jun Lee and Bryant Yoon analyses the Korea v Mexico match as well as some other matches during the last weekend. The panel also shares their analysis and prediction about tonight’s matches between IR Iran v Portugal and Spain v Morocco.

The full World Cup Panel discussion is available on the podcast above.
