Mexico’s astonishing win over Germany changed all the prediction about Group F including Korea.


The biggest surprise was made during the first weekend of the 2018 FIFA Russia World Cup.

Mexico made an astonishing win over Germany, defending champion of the 2014 FIFA Brazil World Cup. It brought a defending champion’s jinx again.  

The shock win of Mexico contributed to not create an ultimate winner in the group and it made the competition for the second spot more complicated.

There was surprising World Cup news in Australia. SBS announced that SBS HD, a free-to-air channel broadcasts the Korea v Sweden match.

After a wave of complaints about Optus’s subscription streaming service SBS announced that they will air all FIFA World Cup games for 48 hours on June 18, 2018 following discussions with Optus.
