On 5 July 2019, Changwon K-Pop World Festival, Melbourne Preliminary Round was held by the Consulate-General of the Republic of Korea. Sydney Preliminary Round will be held on 20 July at the Pyrmont theatre by Korean Cultural Centre Australia.
Consul-General, Mr Sunghyo Kim said “Today, K-Pop is not only a demonstration of Korean culture, but also it unites young people across the world in harmony and friendship. I wish to focus on introducing Korean culture into the local society living up to Australia’s multiculturalism.”
Out of the 16 great performances in Melbourne, Pulse Crew, AO Crew and Melt had the honour to win the first, second and third place in the competition.
